Leo Beletsky is Professor of Law and Health Sciences at Northeastern University and a member of the faculty of the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine. 

 

He has two decades of experience researching and training criminal justice agencies to improve the occupational safety of first responders and to align public safety and public health practices. He has worked with departments across the nation and internationally, and has consulted for the Office of National Drug Control Policy, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
